We're Hiring | AWS Data Engineer (ETL & DWH)
Client: Sun Life Financial
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana – Onsite
Employment Type: Full-time

Interview Process: 2 virtual rounds
Mandatory Requirements
- Candidates must be local to Delhi NCR.
- Immediate joiners only, or candidates serving notice with a maximum of 15 days remaining.
- Previous experience working with an MNC.
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
Technical Skills
- AWS Glue and Glue Data Catalog
- Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift
- ETL development, data ingestion, and data integration
- Data warehouse design and scalable data pipelines
- Change Data Capture (CDC) and event streaming
- Parquet, Apache Iceberg, and unstructured data processing
- Data quality, governance, and transformation
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Build ETL workflows using Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, and Redshift.
- Ingest data from databases, delimited files, and other sources.
- Perform complex data transformations and load processed data into Amazon S3.
- Maintain data catalogs, mappings, data quality, and consistency.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Support CDC, event streaming, and modern data processing solutions.
- Translate business requirements into reliable and efficient data solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of data management, governance, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
