Job Description-

QWAY Healthcare is looking for experienced and motivated IV Callers (Insurance Verification Callers) with a strong background in US healthcare, physician billing, prior authorization, and verification of benefits (VOB). Candidates should have hands-on experience with the Epic software system and a good understanding of US healthcare insurance processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification calls to insurance companies to confirm patients eligibility and benefits.
• Verify Verification of Benefits (VOB), including coverage details, deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Handle prior authorization requests and follow up with insurance providers for approval status.
• Verify patient insurance information and ensure accurate documentation of benefits and authorization details.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physician billing and the CMS-1500 claim form.
• Use the Epic software system to update patient records, insurance details, authorization information, and call outcomes.
• Contact insurance companies to clarify coverage, claim requirements, and authorization procedures.
• Coordinate with internal billing and healthcare teams to resolve insurance-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance verification calls and follow established quality and compliance standards.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in US healthcare.
• Hands-on experience in physician billing and the CMS-1500 claim form.
• Practical knowledge of prior authorization and verification of benefits.
• Experience working with Epic software.
• Good verbal communication and telephone-handling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
• Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
