Water System Operator (Pharma)

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc.
Experience: 1 to 4 years hands-on experience in purified water systems.

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating and monitoring purified water systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations while adhering to SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor purified water systems, including pre-treatment, generation, storage, and distribution.
• Ensure smooth plant operations as per prescribed SOPs and defined operating parameters.
• Monitor feed water quality, utility parameters, equipment performance, and system readings.
• Maintain daily log sheets, chemical consumption records, equipment readings, and preventive maintenance records.
• Coordinate with the QC team for water sampling and analysis.
• Identify operational abnormalities, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate major breakdowns or deviations.
• Perform minor maintenance activities, including leakage rectification, and assist in preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational issues as per quality procedures.
• Follow industrial safety practices and customer-specific operational requirements.
• Adhere to assigned shift schedules and ensure proper shift handovers.
• Participate in technical training and coordinate with site teams to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.

Required Skills:

• Practical experience in purified water system operations is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SOPs, equipment monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and at customer locations as per business requirements.
