Warranty Engineer (Lighting plant)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary customer interface for warranty claims and field quality issues.
• Manage customer complaints, warranty returns, and product failure investigations.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams for issue resolution.
• Track warranty performance, prepare reports, and present updates to customers.
• Ensure timely closure of customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Support field quality improvement initiatives and warranty cost reduction.

Requirements

• Diploma/ B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Warranty, Customer Quality, or Field Quality functions.
• Experience in automotive lighting products (Head Lamps, Tail Lamps, LED Lighting) preferred.
• Strong customer handling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and IATF 16949.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
