About this role
- Review and analyze warranty claims received from dealers, service centers, customers, and field operations.
- Identify recurring failures, abnormal trends, and potential quality issues.
- Validate warranty claims against applicable warranty policies and technical criteria.
- Categorize claims based on failure mode, component, supplier, model, and application.
- Initiate collection/recall of suspect warranty parts for detailed analysis.
- Coordinate with dealers, service centers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams for part retrieval.
- Analyze returned parts to determine whether the failure is attributable to the supplier, manufacturing process, design, assembly, or other causes.
- Support technical investigations and root-cause analysis using appropriate quality tools.
- Identify warranty claims attributable to supplier/component defects.
- Prepare and initiate supplier chargeback claims based on validated warranty failures.
- Calculate recoverable costs, including parts, labor, logistics, inspection, handling, and other applicable warranty expenses.
- Ensure supporting evidence is available for each chargeback.
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality, Procurement, Finance, and suppliers for claim settlement.
- Track disputed, accepted, rejected, and recovered chargeback amounts.
- Follow up on pending claims to ensure timely financial recovery.
