Job Purpose

The Warehouse Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for warehouse employees across TCI's warehouse network. The role focuses on enhancing operational excellence, process adherence, safety awareness, productivity, and capability building through structured learning interventions and data-driven training initiatives.

The incumbent will work closely with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Business development teams to identify training needs, develop relevant content, and ensure effective implementation of warehouse learning programs across locations.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Warehouse Process Training

• Conduct classroom, on-the-job, and virtual training programs for warehouse staff.
• Train employees on warehouse operations including:
• Inbound & outbound processes
• Inventory management
• Material handling practices
• Storage optimization
• Dispatch management
• Documentation & compliance
• Quality and safety procedures
• Standardize operational practices across warehouses through effective training interventions.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and operational guidelines.

2. Learning & Development Initiatives

• Identify training needs through discussions with business and operations stakeholders.
• Develop annual and quarterly training calendars for warehouse operations.
• Drive capability-building programs for frontline employees, supervisors, and warehouse executives.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Content Design & Development

• Design training modules, manuals, SOP-based learning guides, presentations, videos, assessments, and e-learning content.
• Customize learning solutions based on warehouse operational requirements.
• Develop certification programs and competency-based learning pathways for warehouse employees.
• Update training content periodically to align with process changes and business requirements.

4. Data Analysis & Training Effectiveness

• Analyze training data and learning metrics.
• Track key training indicators such as:
• Training coverage
• Assessment scores
• Skill improvement
• Compliance levels
• Certification status
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
• Use data insights to improve training interventions and business outcomes.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Quality, Safety, and HR teams.
• Support implementation of new operational processes through training initiatives.
• Conduct warehouse visits and audits to evaluate training effectiveness and process adherence.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Post Graduate/MBA in Human Resources, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Learning & Development preferred.

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in:
• Warehouse Operations
• Supply Chain Training
• Learning & Development
• Logistics Operations Training
• Experience in conducting large-scale operational training programs preferred.
• Fresher can be considered with good MS Office exposure & Communication/Presentation skills

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Word
• Experience with content development and learning authoring tools such as:
• Articulate Storyline
• Google Flow
• Canva
• Vyond
• Camtasia
• Microsoft Copilot/AI-based content tools
• Other e-learning development platforms

Travel Requirement

• Extensive travel across TCI warehouse locations on a PAN India basis.
• Willingness to stay and conduct training programs at operational sites as per business requirements.
