Job Description Warehouse Junior Officer (Fresher)


Job Summary


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and checking incoming materials/goods .
• Verify quantities, item codes, and physical condition of materials.
• Support proper storage and bin/location management .
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation .
• Assist with GRN, material issue, transfer, and dispatch activities .
• Conduct regular stock counting and physical inventory verification .
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO and warehouse safety procedures where applicable.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the warehouse.
• Assist in identifying stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Update warehouse transactions in ERP/SAP/WMS or Excel .
• Follow company SOPs, safety rules, and security procedures.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Any Graduate / Diploma; Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related qualification preferred.
• Experience: Freshers can apply.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations .
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and in shifts if required.
• Physically fit and willing to learn warehouse processes.
