Warehouse And Logistics Officer

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce warehouse,including receiving,storage,inventory,picking,packing,labelling and dispatch.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers in India and overseas for stock,production,purchase orders,inbound shipments and delivery schedules.
• Manage courier and logistics partners,including shipment creation,courier allocation,tracking,delivery issues and RTOs.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders,shipping agents and customs/logistics partners when required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records,conduct stock checks and resolve stock discrepancies,damages and shortages.
• Ensure all customer orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff,allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
• Handle returns,RTOs and damaged shipments and ensure proper recording and processing.
• Maintain warehouse SOPs,operational records and regular reports.
• Identify operational problems,improve processes and ensure efficient and cost-effective warehouse and logistics operations.
• Take complete ownership of warehouse and logistics issues and ensure timely resolution.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce warehouse,logistics,fulfilment or supply chain operations.
• Previous experience managing an e-commerce warehouse and courier operations is preferred.
• Experience dealing with suppliers/manufacturers and domestic & international shipments.
• Good knowledge of inventory management,order fulfilment,shipping and returns/RTO processes.
• Experience with courier/shipping platforms,Excel/Google Sheets and e-commerce/warehouse management systems.
• Good communication,negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage warehouse staff and handle multiple operations simultaneously.
• Knowledge of import/export and basic customs procedures is an advantage.
• Should be proactive,responsible and capable of taking end-to-end ownership of warehouse and logistics operations.
