Wanted - Accountant

Amrita Vidyalayam is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Accounts Department to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, and should be capable of handling school accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/ERP).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations and track cash flows.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and PL statements.
• Assist in audits and liaise with auditors when required.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain documentation and records for accounting transactions.

Requirements Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
