About this role
Job Highlights We are seeking a skilled WalkMe Developer with a strong focus on ServiceNow to join our team. In this role, you will be the key to user adoption, designing and building intelligent in-app guidance within ServiceNow that simplifies complex processes, guides users through workflows, and drives productivity. Your primary mission: to use WalkMe to create seamless, guided "Flows" that make using ServiceNow a breeze for employees across HR, IT, and Finance.
What You'll Do:
- Design & Build ServiceNow Flows: Use the WalkMe Editor to create intuitive, step-by-step guidance (Walkthroughs, Task Lists) that directly support and simplify key ServiceNow processes and workflows.
- Bridge the Gap: Partner with our ServiceNow administrators and business analysts to identify complex workflows (e.g., Incident, Change, Catalog Item requests) and transform them into user-friendly, guided experiences.
- Technical Mastery in ServiceNow: Apply your deep understanding of the ServiceNow DOM and UI structure to create robust, reliable CSS/jQuery selectors that withstand patches and updates.
- Develop Context-Aware Guidance: Use custom JavaScript and WalkMe rules to create dynamic guidance that responds to user roles, form data, and other context within the ServiceNow platform.
- Quality Assurance: Rigorously test all WalkMe Flows across different ServiceNow modules, user personas, and browsers to ensure a flawless and non-intrusive user experience.
- Measure & Optimize: Utilize WalkMe Analytics to measure the effectiveness of your guidance, track user engagement, and identify opportunities for further simplification and improvement.
What We're Looking For (The Must-Haves):
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying content with the WalkMe platform.
- Complete Ownership of deliverables.
- Proven experience applying WalkMe specifically within the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong technical skills in CSS/jQuery Selectors and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to dynamic web interfaces like ServiceNow.
- A solid understanding of ServiceNow's core UI structure (Forms, Fields, Tables).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
What Will Make You Stand Out (The Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience building guidance for ServiceNow module.
- Direct experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow UI Policies and Client Scripts.
- WalkMe Builder or Manager Certification.
How Long Will the Process Take? <1 Week. Here's what to expect:
