Walk-in || Welder

Role & responsibilities

• Perform welding activities as per drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform MIG, TIG and Arc welding as required.
• Weld and fabricate components, frames, brackets, structures, hydraulic equipment and machinery parts.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Select the appropriate welding method, electrode, wire, gas and welding parameters.
• Prepare, clean, align and fit components before welding.
• Check welded joints for quality, strength and dimensional accuracy.
• Identify and rectify welding defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut and incomplete penetration.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and related tools safely.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with fitters, machinists and production team to complete jobs on time.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet required quality standards.
• Maintain proper use and care of welding equipment, tools and PPE.
