Position: Vehicle Integration Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Education: B.E. / B.Tech

Job Description:

• To identify and ensure design support to address Physical VLO , BSR, Serviceability audit issue
• To ensure product development gateway milestones are aligned as per project timelines by collaborating with all stake holders e.g Manufacturing, Quality, P&SQ, JV partners (e.g. FCA)
• To support for P0-PP build, QRT and production readiness
• To support CE for D&D estimates based on requirements of TKW, proto plan, manpower requirement, FSS etc. Monitor and support tracking the proto level budgets.
• To support in development and Adhere new processes based on new initiatives in the projects.
• To be responsible for team formation for project with the consultation from Chief Engineer
• To inform all teams about the engineering timeline and help align activities of delivery team to meet the same
• To take a lead in assessing technical risks involved in the project and take mitigation actions accordingly
• To conduct weekly milestone reviews of projects. Review/ resolve/ escalate critical technical issues related to product performance, cost and quality
• To validate and ensuring Indent as per change part list and proto/validation requirement
• To monitor & ensure the technical delivery of the project by Coordinating with various functions & escalate critical issues to CE related
• To ensure ESO timeline sign-off by stakeholders. Coordinate with ESO office, validation agencies, AQ team to ensure ESO completion with close-out report
• To define prototype plan, Beta Build Card and ensure its sign off by stakeholders
• To support teams for pre-CMVR report and component level certificate availability
• To define DVP and ensure its sign off by stakeholders. Ensure completion of System and component level test plan
• To interact with internal team, Project Manager (PL team), Testing team - Indoor / Outdoor for execution of engineering activities and meeting engineering deliverables / milestone.
• To prepare Project Status Report for peer review and Senior Management review
• To conduct and confirm the meeting of Pre- CMVR certification, Homologation test prior to final certification on vehicle
• To discuss and finalize project timeline, sign off of change part list as per program scope
• To Co-ordinate with COCs for technical issues resolution

Preferred to have:

• Knowledge of component and vehicle level Testing Knowledge and Homologation and Certification Knowledge.
• Must have knowledge of Vehicle aggregates, basic aggregate vehicle integration requirements, Engineering change management, basic BOM structure, PLM , Viz Mock Up software, DML/DCR/ECN release process
