We are hiring UAT Tester with Banking domain knowledge in Capital Markets in Investment Banking / Wealth Management with practical UAT delivery experience. The individual should be able to challenge unclear requirements, identify testing gaps, coordinate stakeholders, and clearly communicate release risks.

The role requires someone who can take ownership of the complete UAT lifecycle rather than only execute pre-written test cases.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in User Acceptance Testing or business-process testing.
• Deep understanding of business processes and day-to-day operational workflows.
• Ability to interpret business and functional requirements.
• Experience converting requirements into real-world test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience using Jira or similar requirement, test, and defect-management tools.
• Good understanding of requirement traceability and test evidence.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder-management and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong documentation and status-reporting skills.

Requirements Analysis

• Review business requirements, process workflows, and existing test scenarios to understand the testing scope. Translate requirements into practical UAT scenarios and maintain traceability in Jira. Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, and testing risks. Track application configuration and testing readiness with functional teams.

2. UAT Planning

• Prepare the UAT strategy, test plan, timelines, and effort estimates. Coordinate with business leads, functional teams, testing teams, and subject matter experts. Confirm resource, environment, test data, and application readiness. Conduct test-plan walkthroughs and secure stakeholder agreement.

3. UAT Test Design

• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and scripts based on business requirements and process flows. Cover positive, negative, exception, and end-to-end business scenarios. Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases in Jira. Review and finalise test scripts with business subject matter experts.

4. UAT Execution

• Execute UAT scripts for planned releases and business changes. Record test results and maintain complete supporting evidence. Log defects with clear descriptions, business impact, and expected outcomes. Retest resolved defects and support test completion and business sign-off.

5. Defect Management

• Log, track, and manage defects through Jira until closure. Participate in defect-triage discussions and help assess severity, priority, and business impact. Retest fixes and maintain evidence of successful resolution. Escalate critical defects that may affect release readiness.

6. UAT Coordination and Reporting

Coordinate UAT planning, design, execution, defect management, and closure activities. Work closely with business, functional, and technology stakeholders. Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items. Prepare concise status reports and escalate blockers or release concerns promptly
