Role Overview

The Transport Manager will oversee daily transport operations, ensuring efficient fleet utilization, compliance with regulations, and smooth coordination across logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Management Supervise drivers, vehicles, and maintenance schedules.

- Route Planning – Optimize transport routes for cost efficiency and timely deliveries.

- Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to RTO rules, safety standards, and company policies.

- Vendor Coordination – Liaise with thirdparty transport providers and service vendors.

- Budget & Cost Control – Manage transport budgets, fuel usage, and operational expenses.

- Documentation – Maintain records of vehicles, licenses, insurance, and staff.

- Staff Supervision – Oversee drivers, mechanics, and support staff; ensure training and performance monitoring.

- Stakeholder Engagement – Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and government authorities.

- Technology Integration – Use transport management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking for realtime visibility.
