Walk-in || Trainee Analyst (Analytical and Synthesis R&D)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Synthesis R&D

1. Assist in laboratory-scale chemical synthesis as per the instructions of the reporting senior.

2. Perform reactions, work-up, extraction, filtration, crystallisation and purification under supervision.

3. Monitor reaction progress and maintain reaction observations and laboratory records.

4. Assist in process optimisation and improvement of yield and product quality.

2. Analytical R&D

1. Assist in the analysis of raw materials, intermediates and final products.

2. Perform routine analytical testing using HPLC, GC, UV and other laboratory instruments, as trained and authorised.

3. Assist in method development, method validation and analytical method transfer under supervision.

4. Record analytical results and maintain laboratory notebooks and analytical documentation.

3. Laboratory Operations & Documentation

1. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment readiness and proper chemical storage.

2. Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety instructions and laboratory practices.

3. Maintain accurate experimental records, observations and test data.

4. Ensure proper labelling, handling and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.

4. Quality, Safety & Coordination

1. Follow laboratory safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

2. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing laboratory activities.

3. Coordinate with senior researchers and analytical team members for experiments and sample testing.

4. Report deviations, abnormal observations and equipment issues to the reporting senior.

Note: Interviews are being conducted for both Synthesis R&D and Analytical R&D positions. Candidates will be considered for either role based on their educational specialisation, technical knowledge, interview performance and suitability for the respective department. Final role allocation will be decided by the organisation based on the candidate's profile and departmental requirements.
