Walk-in || Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse

Role & responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Assessment: Evaluate patient health upon admission, monitor vital signs (pulse, temperature, respiration, blood pressure), and track clinical progress.
• Medication & Treatment: Administer prescribed oral medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) fluids while managing infusion equipment.
• Clinical Procedures: Assist physicians during examinations, minor procedures, or surgeries, and perform tasks like wound dressing and catheterization.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and dietitians to update and execute patient care plans.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic or paper patient records and manage shift handovers.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on medication regimens, home care, and lifestyle adjustments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education : ANM, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.
• Licensure/Registration: Active state or national nursing council registration.
• Key Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, empathy, time management, and the ability to handle high-stress emergency situations.
