Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Developer with DBT expertise to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and data engineering practices, with the ability to build scalable and efficient data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and manage data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Create and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation using DBT.
• Tune Snowflake performance and optimize storage/compute costs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and warehouse performance issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Hands-on expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow or other orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Matillion, Fivetran, Informatica, or similar ETL tools.
• Exposure to Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Snowflake certification is an added advantage.
