Walk-in || SME - Mapping

General Guideline:

Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participation is limited to the first 350 eligible candidates reporting between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

• Personal laptops, tablets, or other electronic devices are not permitted during the interview process.
• Please carry a mobile charger, as the assessment and interview process may extend throughout the day.
• Applicants must be Graduates or Postgraduates. Candidates currently pursuing any degree, certification, or educational program will not be considered.
• The role operates in a 24x7 work environment, primarily supporting US customers, and requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts and rotational week-offs.
• Candidates who are available to join immediately are highly encouraged to apply, as immediate availability will be considered a strong advantage.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in POI Operations, Digital Mapping, GIS, Navigation, Location Intelligence, or related domains.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment with strict quality and productivity targets.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
• Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts and support global business requirements, wherever applicable.
• Immediate joiners and candidates serving short notice periods will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality maps using Mapbox GL JS.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mapping solutions into existing applications.
  
• Analyze GIS data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  
• Develop custom POIs (Points of Interest) for various industries such as retail, hospitality, etc.
  
• Ensure seamless navigation experiences by optimizing map layouts for mobile devices.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in cartography or a related field.
  
• Strong understanding of Gis Data Analysis principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in working with vector tiles and raster images.
  
• Experience with JavaScript programming language and familiarity with Mapbox API.
