JOB DESCRIPTION - Shift HVAC Engineer

Position - Shift HVAC Engineer

Department - Facility Operations HVAC

Reports To Site Lead

Location - Mumbai

JOB PURPOSE

To manage shift-level HVAC operations, ensuring reliable performance of cooling infrastructure and coordinated incident response in line with approved SOPs and EOPs.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Graduate Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical stream with minimum 23 years of experience, or
• Diploma Engineer with 35 years of experience, or
• ITI candidate with 810 years of experience and strong electrical/mechanical exposure

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for on-ground HVAC operations in coordination with multiple teams
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for incident management, preventive maintenance tracking, and supervision of maintenance activity
• Operate HVAC and related infrastructure as per laid-down SOPs and EOPs
• Prepare PM schedules and follow preventive/breakdown maintenance procedures for utility equipment
• Coordinate with internal and external customers
• Support energy management of HVAC systems
• Analyze performance of HVAC equipment: chillers, PAHUs, FWUs, chemical dosing, and water consumption
• Support compliance with ISO certifications: QMS, ITSM, ISMS, BCMS, EnMS, EMS, OHSE, etc.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

• HVAC infrastructure: PAC, PAHU, FWU, chiller systems, dehumidifiers, liquid cooling, chemical dosing systems, BMS, CPM, EMPS, fire detection and suppression systems
• Precision air conditioning systems
• BMS, safety, and security systems
• HT installation operations (11 KV to 220 KV) authorized to work on Hi-Tension installations
• CMMS (ServiceNow) and general computer literacy

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good energy management skills for HVAC systems
