Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, Playwright, and API Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs. Experience in the Insurance domain, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C) or Commercial Insurance, will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework
• Experience in API Automation Testing using tools such as Playwright API, Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of Automation Framework Design and Development
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright
• Create and execute automated test suites for UI and API testing
• Develop reusable automation components and enhance existing frameworks
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed defect reports
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Ensure test coverage and maintain high-quality standards throughout the SDLC
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in automation architecture and Quality Engineering.
  • Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python.
• Preferred insurance domain.
  • Strong experience in UI, Mobile, API testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with test reporting, logging, and monitoring solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing automation at enterprise scale.
  • Experience with AI-powered testing tools and Agentic AI solutions.
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Engineering, Cloud, or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Retail eCommerce domain is added advantage.
