Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) Senior Accountant (Private Limited Company | Madurai)

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Madurai Experience: 3+ Years Industry Preference: Manufacturing

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime accurately.
2. Prepare and verify Sales, Purchase, Journal, Receipt, and Payment entries.
3. Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and return filing.
4. Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing as per statutory timelines.
5. Process Payroll, salary preparation, PF/ESI, and employee-related statutory compliances.
6. Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and monitor all banking transactions.
7. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
8. Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, including vendor and customer reconciliation.
9. Ensure timely compliance with ROC, Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
10. Coordinate with Auditors, CA, Banks, and Government Departments for financial and compliance matters.
11. Monitor cash flow, expense control, and support management in financial planning.
12. Prepare financial reports and presentations using MS Excel for management review.
13. Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
14. Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
15. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.

Salary

20,000 – 30,000 per month (Based on experience & skills)
