Seating JD

• Design expertise of Automotive Seating Systems (Complete Seat, Seat trims, Seat structures).
• Lead the complete program and Providing engineering solution during design of components aggregates engineering feasibility checks.
• Creating Engineering Concept design, master sections, macro feasibility during styling stage
• Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE, and validation support, DFMEA and DVP.
• Preparation of Bill of Material in Seating systems .
• Creating master sections of Seating and Restraints parts with interface to meet craftsmanship requirements.
• Finalizing mounting strategy of Seat parts with interface parts to meet robustness and other performance and Quality targets.
• Release Management in PLM TCUA/TCE/Modular BOM.
• Should support on D&T & Stack-up, Change Management, DFMEA, DVPR, ATR, CAE
• Should aware and support of PQP & PPAP Documentation - PFC, PFMEA, CP, QP, SOP.
• Participation / Lead in Design Reviews/CFT meeting/DFMEA etc.
• Co-ordinate with all relevant internal as well as external agencies for design and development throughout the project viz. from project initiations up to launch support.
• Support on VAVE, weight optimization, quality improvements and deliver as per given target of cost.
• Interactions with suppliers along with design reviews, release activities, etc,
• 3D modelling in surfacing as well as solid. Generating 2D drawings,3D annotation etc.
