Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

A SAP ABAP on HANA developer with 5-10 years of experience is expected to beproficient in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP, with a strong focus on leveraging SAP HANA's capabilities.This includes experience withOO ABAP,AMDP,CDS Views,OData services,and other relevant technologies.They should be able to work with various SAP modules likeSD,MM,FI/CO,etc., and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:

Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs, including custom development objects, reports, interfaces, and enhancements, leveraging SAP HANA's performance capabilities.

• HANA Optimization:

Optimize ABAP code for efficient execution on the SAP HANA platform, including the use of native HANA SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling techniques.

• OO ABAP:

Demonstrate strong understanding and practical experience in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.

• CDS Views and AMDP:

Develop and utilize Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for efficient data access and processing in HANA.

• OData Services:

Develop and consume OData services for integrating SAP with other systems and applications.

• Integration:

Integrate SAP with other systems using various methods like IDocs, RFCs, and web services.

• Troubleshooting and Support:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP code and HANA database performance.

• Code Reviews:

Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Technical Documentation:

Create and maintain technical specifications, test cases, and other relevant documentation.

• Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and functional consultants, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA database and its features.
• Proficiency in OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Experience with various SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
