Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead, coach, and manage a team of sales executives. The role is responsible for achieving team sales targets, generating new business, monitoring daily performance, and ensuring effective customer follow-up and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Set daily and monthly sales goals for team members and monitor achievement.
• Generate new leads and support the team in converting leads into business.
• Conduct daily team meetings and review individual performance.
• Monitor calls, meetings, follow-ups, conversions, and sales pipeline.
• Coach and motivate team members to improve their sales performance.
• Provide training on product knowledge, sales techniques, negotiation, and customer handling.
• Assist sales executives in handling difficult customers and closing high-value deals.
• Track team performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Explore new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
• Ensure the team follows company policies, sales processes, and reporting procedures.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members when required.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably with team-handling experience.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good customer relationship management abilities.
• Strong follow-up and business development skills.
• Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a target-driven environment.
