Safety Engineer Oil & Gas

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in related field.
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, EPC, or industrial projects.
• Gulf experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of PTW, Risk Assessment, HAZID/HAZOP, LOTO, H2S, and emergency response.
• Good communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP support, site inspections, and safety audits.
• Monitor high-risk activities including PTW, hot work, confined space, work at height, lifting, and LOTO.
• Prepare and review JSA/JHA, method statements,emergency plans, and safety reports.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Oil & Gas safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project, operations, maintenance, and contractor teams on HSE matters.
