Walkin Interview for experienced Safety Engineers/Safety officers for TBM Tunneling Project.

Location - Mumbai, Maharashtra

Qualification - Any Engineering/Diploma/Science Graduate with Diploma in Industrial Safety/ADIS from State Board of technical Education.

Experience - 4 to 10 yrs (Underground Metro & TBM Tunnelling Exp is Preferrable)

Job Description -

1. Implement and monitor site Safety Management Plans, procedures, and statutory compliance.

2. Conduct daily site safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure timely corrective actions.

3. Carry out Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and training for workmen and staff.

4. Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure safe work methodology, PTW compliance, and risk control.

5. Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment (HIRA), Method Statements, and emergency response plans.

6. Ensure proper use of PPE, enforce safety rules, and promote a positive safety culture.

7. Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, confined space, hot work, and excavation.

8. Maintain records of incidents/near-misses and support incident investigation to identify root causes.

9. Ensure statutory compliance with Factories Act, BOCW Act, IS standards, and client safety requirements.

10. Coordinate with client/consultant for safety audits, meetings, and compliance follow-up.
