JOB DESCRIPTION : PROMOTERS MANAGER
Job Purpose
To manage and drive the overall performance, productivity, engagement and retention of promoters across assigned retail locations, ensuring achievement of sales objectives and effective consumer engagement at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor promoter performance, productivity and sales achievement across assigned stores/locations.
• Track and analyse daily/weekly/monthly sales data and maintain MIS, dashboards and performance reports using MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Develop and monitor promotional schemes, incentive initiatives and timely motivational programs to accelerate promoter performance.
• Identify performance gaps and implement coaching, corrective actions and productivity improvement plans.
• Strengthen promoter ability to influence consumers, drive customer engagement and improve sales conversion.
• Conduct and coordinate training on customer engagement, product presentation, sales techniques, objection handling and consumer interaction.
• Define, track and calculate promoter KPIs, prepare performance reports and provide actionable insights to management.
• Handle field-level challenges, promoter grievances and operational issues and ensure timely resolution in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor promoter attendance, deployment and manpower availability to ensure business continuity.
• Analyze promoter attrition trends, identify root causes and implement retention and engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with Sales, HR, Retailers and other stakeholders to strengthen promoter performance and field execution.
• Provide regular management updates on sales performance, productivity, schemes, KPIs, grievances, manpower and attrition.

Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing/Management will be an advantage.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in promoter management, retail sales, smartphone/mobile or consumer electronics industry, or field-force management.
• 5-8 years of experience preferred, with strong exposure to the smartphone industry and electronics industry.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of sales tracking, promotional schemes, KPI calculation, field-force management and performance management.
• Excellent people management, communication, problem-solving and grievance-handling skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop promoters and drive measurable improvement in their productivity.
• Strong understanding of promoter attrition, engagement and retention management.
• Willingness to undertake regular field/store visits and resolve on-ground challenges.
