Job Title: Trainee Research Associate API R&D (M.Sc. Chemistry)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Execute lab-scale organic synthesis and multi-step reactions for API intermediates and drug substances.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and reactors under the supervision of senior scientists.
Monitor reaction progress using TLC and interpret analytical data (HPLC, GC, IR, NMR) for product characterization.
Maintain accurate documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results in lab notebooks as per GLP guidelines.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process intensification, solvent recovery, and waste minimization strategies.
Conduct comprehensive impurity profiling (organic, inorganic, and genotoxic impurities) and establish specifications as per regulatory requirements.
Author and review technical dossiers, CTD (Common Technical Document) sections, and responses to regulatory queries (USFDA, EMA, WHO).
Mentor and train junior chemists on reaction techniques, safety practices, and documentation standards.
Oversee technology transfer to pilot plant and manufacturing sites, providing on-site support during scale-up batches and validation runs.
Ensure 100% compliance with GMP, GLP, and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policies.
