About this role
Role & responsibilities
* Handle and follow up on company-provided leads.
* Contact prospective customers and schedule appointments.
* Meet customers and understand their financial and insurance requirements.
* Explain suitable life insurance and financial protection solutions.
* Maintain strong and professional customer relationships.
* Coordinate with the reporting manager during customer meetings whenever required.
* Follow up with prospects and convert leads into successful business.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain regular follow-up and update lead/customer information.
* Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of proposals.
* Coordinate with internal teams for smooth processing of customer applications.
* Maintain customer relationships for renewals and persistency.
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions and business review meetings.
* Follow company policies, processes and compliance requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
* Graduate in any discipline.
* Candidates with experience in Life Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, NBFC or related sales will be preferred.
* Freshers with good communication and sales aptitude can also apply.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong customer-handling and relationship-building skills.
* Target-oriented and self-motivated.
* Willingness to meet customers and travel locally when required.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
* Candidates with an existing customer network or sales background will have an added advantage.
