Registered Nurse (KNC) LDR/LDRP

Location: Aster RV Hospital, JP Nagar, Bengaluru
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM
Registration: Valid Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) Registration mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the LDR/LDRP unit.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vitals during labour and delivery.
• Assist doctors during normal and high-risk deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Handle and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records.
• Follow infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with obstetricians, neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and attendants on postpartum care and breastfeeding.

Desired Profile

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in LDR/LDRP, Labour Room or Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Strong clinical and emergency-handling skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
