Walk-in || Radiology Typist

Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely typing, formatting, verification, and dispatch of radiology reports while maintaining patient confidentiality and coordination with radiologists and diagnostic departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Type and prepare reports for X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other radiology investigations as dictated by radiologists.
• Accurately enter patient details, investigation findings, impressions, and report observations.
• Proofread reports for spelling, medical terminology, formatting, and data accuracy.
• Coordinate with radiologists for report corrections, clarifications, and finalization.
• Ensure timely completion and dispatch of radiology reports to patients, doctors, and concerned departments.
• Maintain proper records of reports and pending cases.
• Handle report printing, scanning, uploading, and electronic dispatch as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
• Coordinate with front office, billing, medical records, and other diagnostic departments when required.
• Ensure proper use of RIS/PACS/Hospital Information System (HIS) and other reporting systems.
• Follow hospital quality, documentation, and patient-safety standards.

Qualification

• Any Graduate / Diploma in relevant field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology terminology preferred.
• Good typing speed and accuracy.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
