Walk-in || Quality Management System -Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Implement and maintain integrated QMS and FSMS requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable requirements of:
• FSSAI, BIS
• FSSC 22000
• ISO 22000
• ISO 9001
• BRCGS Food Safety
• USDA/FSIS,
• HALAL where applicable
• Customer and internal standards
• Maintain awareness of changes in regulatory and certification requirements and assess their impact on the organization.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP, GHP, PRPs and HACCP.
• Coordinate HACCP/Food Safety Team activities including hazard analysis, CCP/OPRP controls, validation and verification.
• Ensure compliance with requirements related to food safety, quality, hygiene, traceability, food defense, food fraud, product authenticity and regulatory labelling.
• Establish and monitor Quality & Food Safety Objectives/KPIs.
• Coordinate Management Review Meetings and monitor action closure.
• Drive continual improvement of the QMS/FSMS.

B. Audit & CAPA Management

• Prepare and execute the annual internal audit programme.
• Conduct audits against applicable QMS, FSMS, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Coordinate certification, customer and regulatory audits.
• Identify and report non-conformities and observations.
• Manage the complete NC RCA CAPA Effectiveness Verification process.
• Hands on usage of RCA tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto and 8D.
• Monitor recurring non-conformities and implement systemic corrective actions.
• Track audit findings and CAPA closure within defined timelines.
• Maintain continuous audit readiness.

C. Documentation & Record Control

• Develop, review and maintain:
• Policies
• Manuals
• Procedures
• SOPs
• Work Instructions
• Specifications
• Forms and records
• Ensure proper document approval, revision, distribution and withdrawal.
• Maintain control of regulatory and external documents.
• Ensure records are accurate, traceable and retained as required.

D. Risk, Change & Supplier Management

• Coordinate risk assessments covering food safety, quality, allergens, foreign bodies, food fraud, food defense, suppliers and processes.
• Implement effective Change Control for raw materials, suppliers, processes, equipment, packaging and specifications.
• Ensure appropriate risk assessment, validation, verification and approval before implementation of changes.
• Support supplier approval, evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Review supplier relevant compliance documentation.

E. Traceability, Recall & Food Safety Culture

• Maintain effective product traceability and recall systems.
• Conduct periodic mock recall/traceability exercises and monitor performance.
• Support product withdrawal/recall and food safety incident management.
• Develop and conduct training on QMS, FSMS, GMP, HACCP, food safety, documentation, CAPA, food defense and food fraud.
• Support development of a strong Quality & Food Safety Culture.

F. Quality Performance & Continual Improvement

Monitor and report key performance indicators including:

• Customer complaints
• Internal rejection/non-conformity
• Audit findings
• CAPA closure and effectiveness
• Supplier performance
• GMP/food safety compliance
• Regulatory compliance
• Traceability performance
• Training effectiveness
• Quality improvement projects

Use quality data and trends to identify systemic issues and continual improvement opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in compliance with applicable regulatory, certification, customer and internal requirements.

The role will focus on QMS/FSMS implementation, compliance, audits, CAPA, risk management, documentation and continual improvement.
