Role & Responsibilities Quality Inspector

• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Verify component dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and visual quality as per customer requirements.
• Inspect machined components during incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
• Verify raw material test certificates (MTCs) and ensure material grades meet specified requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, dimensional reports, and quality records.
• Identify non-conforming products and coordinate with production and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality procedures.
• Coordinate with production, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and inspection status of components.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Support internal audits, customer inspections, and supplier quality inspections.
• Ensure that products meet customer specifications and are released only after quality approval.
