Job Summary

Liaise with staff/patients on quality matters and quality checks are carried out and recorded in accordance with procedures. In addition quality plan is implemented consistently throughout the hospital

Job Profile

1. Designs and implements the QI plan for the Jupiter Hospital

2. Assist in developing and implementation of standard protocols as per NABH standards.

3. Conducts QI activities in a manner that complies with regulatory and NABH and other accreditation standards.

4. Educates new staff and provides ongoing educational activities to support quality activities. Facilitates and promotes organization wide philosophical commitment to quality.

5. Acts as member for the QI committee. Serves as the focal point of QI activities.

6. Promotes and supports systems and processes to achieve safe, cost effective, high quality healthcare.

7. Reviews, tracks and trends employee/visitor / patient incident reports.

8. Coordinates events for QI activities. Provides guidance to the activities of quality improvement.

9. Uses collaborative efforts and teams to study and improve specific existing processes.

10. Coordinates the activities of process improvement teams. Coordinates team efforts to monitor and evaluate patient care

11. Prepares and displays quality improvement reports and activities utilizing data in a meaningful format. Tabulates aggregates, summarizes and displays pertinent data.

12. Develops complete, timely reliable reports. Shares information with appropriate staff, including reports to the Nursing Director, Medical Director, Chief Executive Officer and the Directors.

13. Submits QI reports and minutes to the various Committees for review at their meetings.

14. Investigates employee/visitor / patient incident reports.

15. Promote process improvement for the ongoing prevention and reduction of risk.
