Walk-in || Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Inward Raw Material Inspection: Inspect incoming resins, glass fiber rovings, mats, catalysts, pigments, and core materials against vendor Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and COA (Certificate of Analysis).
• In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor production lines (Pultrusion, Molding, Lamination) for critical process parameters, wall thickness, glass-to-resin ratio, curing levels, and visual surface defects.
• Finished Goods Testing: Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing (Tensile, Flexural, Impact, Barcol Hardness, Resin Burn-off, Void Content) per ASTM/ISO standards.
• Non-Conformance & CAPA: Identify non-conforming products (NCP), quarantine defective batches, execute root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Documentation & ISO Audits: Maintain Quality Control Test Reports (QCTR), calibration records for testing instruments, stage inspection checklists, and support ISO 9001 internal/external audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within a composite, polymer, FRP pultrusion, or thermoset manufacturing plant.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strict adherence to testing standards, firm stance on quality compliance during shop-floor dispatch approvals, and good technical report writing skills
