Software Engineer Python (Walk-in 5th September)

A Software Engineer Python is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Python and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python development, cloud technologies, and REST APIs, along with a passion for solving technical challenges and building high-quality software products.

Role and Responsibilities

• Participate in developing innovative products by researching and implementing new technologies.
• Develop efficient Python modules and reusable libraries to improve application performance.
• Work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment with ownership of assigned features.
• Contribute to building a SaaS-based Data Fabric and Data Mesh platform that enables seamless data integration, modeling, analysis, provisioning, and monetization.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Work with DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.

Technical Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Good knowledge of Python frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Pandas, NumPy, or similar.
• Experience in developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
• Exposure to Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and backend integration concepts.
• Knowledge of Snowflake or Redshift is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of unit testing and debugging techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working on SaaS products or cloud-native applications is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
