Walk-in || Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of solar and electrical materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare and release purchase orders (POs) as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, accounts, and operations teams.
• Track material deliveries and ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase registers, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor market prices and develop reliable vendor relationships.
• Ensure materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Follow up on pending orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of purchase and procurement processes.
• Vendor management, quotation comparison, and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical materials and solar components.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Eligibility Criteria

• 13 years of experience in purchase or procurement.
• Experience in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, or EPC industry will be preferred.
• Electrical engineering qualification will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with experience in solar modules, inverters, cables, structures, and other electrical materials are preferred.
