Walk-in || Production Junior Engineer/Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor.
• Allocate work to operators and ensure proper manpower utilization.
• Monitor production targets, output, and productivity.
• Ensure production is carried out as per the planned schedule.
• Monitor machine operation and report breakdowns or abnormalities.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards and work instructions.
• Identify production issues and support corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S and good housekeeping practices on the shop floor.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Monitor material availability and minimize material and process wastage.
• Train and guide operators regarding work procedures and safety practices.
• Report daily production status and issues to the Production Engineer/Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic knowledge of production processes and shop-floor operations.
• Good communication and team-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to prepare and maintain production reports.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge of 5S, safety, and basic quality practices.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
