Walk-in || Production Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Production Engineer FATP Process responsible for managing and improving the Final Assembly, Testing & Packing (FATP) operations. The role involves ensuring smooth production flow, achieving production targets, improving line efficiency, reducing rejection/rework, and maintaining quality and process standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day FATP production operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Monitor and control line productivity, efficiency, OEE, rejection, rework and downtime.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions and standardized processes.
• Coordinate with Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance, NPI and Planning teams for smooth production.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement line balancing and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production losses and take corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor manpower deployment and optimize manpower utilization across FATP lines.
• Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, fixtures and other production resources.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of FATP / Final Assembly processes in electronics manufacturing.
• Understanding of assembly, testing, inspection and packing processes.
• Knowledge of line balancing, cycle time, takt time and manpower planning.
• Hands-on experience in production planning and shop-floor management.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
