Walk-in || Production chemist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct quality analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques such as UV spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC, etc.
  
• Prepare and review batch manufacturing records (BMRs) for API production.
  
• Operate reactors, distillation columns, filters, and other equipment involved in bulk drug manufacturing processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines during production activities.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to product quality and process optimization.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-5 years of experience in API manufacturing or a related field.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (B.Sc), Chemical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.), or Pharmacy (B.Pharma).
  
• Strong understanding of batch management systems (BMR) and ability to prepare accurate documentation.
  
• Proficiency in operating various types of equipment used in pharmaceutical industry including reactors, distillation columns, filters etc.
