Job Description Procurement (Sourcing)

Work Location: Mangalore, Karnataka, India
Head Office: Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Department: Procurement
Working Days: 5 Days a Week
Weekly Off: Friday & Saturday

Job Responsibilities

1. Source suppliers for all MRO inquiries and secure the best commercial quotations.
2. Obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery terms and payment conditions.
3. Prepare quotation comparisons and coordinate with the MRO team to support the procurement process.
4. Follow up with suppliers to obtain quotations before the BCD, ensuring timely submission and evaluation of offers.
5. Initiate vendor registration for new suppliers and share the required vendor documents with the Vendor Management team.
6. Coordinate DHL shipment bookings through the online portal and ensure timely submission of invoices through the MyBill portal to the Accounts Payable team for payment processing.
7. Follow up on all local and import MRO Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery of materials and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery-related issues.
8. Verify DHL freight charges and applicable customs duty percentages for all divisions and prepare accurate costing sheets for procurement and import transactions.
9. Follow up with suppliers to obtain packing lists and commercial invoices for material collection, and coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely shipment and delivery of materials for all MRO division POs.
10. Maintain procurement records, contracts and supplier databases.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Purchasing.
• Experience in MRO procurement and supplier sourcing.
• Knowledge of obtaining and comparing supplier quotations.
• Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
• Understanding of local and import procurement processes.
• Knowledge of DHL shipment coordination and freight charges.
• Familiarity with customs duties, packing lists and commercial invoices.
• Good communication, follow-up and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain procurement records and documentation.

Work Location & Schedule

• Location: Mangalore, Karnataka.
• Work Mode: Work from Office.
• Working Days: Sunday to Thursday (5 days a week).
• Weekly Off: Friday and Saturday.
