Walk-in || Pricing Analyst (Eagle Trans Canada - Exp & Imp - Freight Forwarding)

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping Line Quote Management
• Request quotations from shipping lines for:
• New rate/quote requests
• Rate validity extensions
• Commodity approvals
• Review and check contracts received from major shipping lines
• Highlight discrepancies or changes requiring attention.
• Follow up with shipping lines to obtain quotations within required timelines.
• Customer Rate Distribution
• Send updated freight rates to customers
• Compare available options and identify competitive pricing solutions.
• Ensure customers and relevant internal teams receive accurate and timely rate updates.
• Distribute finalized rate sheets to the appropriate internal teams and customers.
• Internal Pricing
• Prepare internal pricing based on shipping line costs, customer requirements, and applicable surcharges.
• Prepare and maintain monthly rate sheets.
• Ensure all rates, validity dates, surcharges, and relevant terms are updated accurately.
• Ensure pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with company requirements.
• Operations & Invoicing Support
• Provide approved quotations and rates for shipment processing and accurate customer billing.
• Assist with rate- and pricing-related escalation cases
• Investigate issues and coordinate with shipping lines or internal departments to resolve discrepancies promptly.
