Walk-in || Press Shop Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Monitor press shop activities covering stamping, blanking, piercing, trimming, embossing, and forming operations.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
• Minimize production losses and machine downtime.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality.
• Ensure adherence to control plans, process flow, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Conduct first-piece approval and periodic quality inspections.
• Analyze rejection, rework, and scrap generation and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality team for customer complaints and internal quality issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-10 years of experience in Press Shop / Sheet Metal Manufacturing.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in automotive OEMs or auto-component manufacturing preferred.
