Walk-in || Plant Incharge

Role & responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Production

• Manage daily RMC plant operations and production planning.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer/project requirements.
• Monitor batching, mixing, loading and dispatch operations.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch, logistics, quality and sales teams.

2. Client & Site Handling

• Coordinate directly with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Understand project requirements and ensure timely concrete supply.
• Resolve customer/site-related operational issues.
• Handle complaints and ensure proper follow-up until resolution.
• Maintain good relationships with key customers.

3. Manpower Management

• Supervise plant operators, helpers, drivers and other plant staff.
• Allocate duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Address staff grievances and operational conflicts effectively.

4. Quality & Safety

• Coordinate with the Quality/Lab team to maintain concrete quality.
• Ensure compliance with approved mix designs and production procedures.
• Follow all plant safety rules and ensure safe working practices.
• Report accidents, breakdowns and major operational issues to management.

5. Maintenance & Plant Efficiency

• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor availability of raw materials such as cement, aggregates and admixtures.
• Minimize production downtime and material wastage.
• Maintain proper plant records and daily production reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of RMC production and batching plant operations.
• Good client and site-handling skills.
• Strong manpower and team-management abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production/dispatch targets.
• Knowledge of RMC plant software and basic MS Office will be an advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate should have 510 years of hands-on experience in RMC plant production and operations, with strong experience in client handling, staff management, dispatch coordination and plant administration.
