Walk-in || Pharmacist

Role & responsibilities

• Dispensing prescribed medications accurately to inpatients and outpatients.
• Reviewing prescriptions to ensure the correct drug, dose, route, and duration are prescribed.
• Monitoring patients for drug interactions, allergies, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors.
• Providing drug information and advice to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Counseling patients on the proper use, storage, and possible side effects of medications.
• Preparing sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products, such as intravenous (IV) medications and chemotherapy drugs.
• Managing the procurement, storage, and inventory of medicines, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring.
• Participating in ward rounds and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient treatment.
• Maintaining accurate medication records and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.
• Promoting rational drug use through antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety programs.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting staff in pharmacy operations.
• Participating in quality improvement activities, clinical audits, research, and continuing professional development.

Preferred Candidate

• Must have valid Gujarat Pharmacy Licence
• Ready to work at our Bodakdev unit
