Walk-in || Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Administering and overseeing the entire payroll cycle, including salary calculations, deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.), and payment distribution.
• Own the end-to-end payroll process and accounting for multi-state employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance as per SLA
• Manage incentive-based compensation in coordination with HR and Finance
• Partner with HR to ensure accurate employee data and integrations across HRMS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday)
• Administer payroll deductions, benefits, bonus payouts, and other variable components.
• Generating various payroll reports for internal use (e.g., for management and accounting) and external reporting (e.g., tax filings).
• Support audits (Statutory, Tax, Internal) and provide relevant payroll documentation.
• Implement and optimize payroll processes and controls for scalability.
• Develop internal reporting and analytics to support Finance and People teams.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related queries
• Ensuring adherence to all applicable Labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll.
