Walk-in || Occupational Health Nurse

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees for workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
• Conduct initial assessment, triage, treatment, and appropriate referral of employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, health surveillance records, and occupational health documentation.
• Support pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.
• Conduct health surveillance programs based on workplace hazards and employee exposure risks.
• Monitor employees for occupational illnesses, work-related injuries, and health concerns.
• Assist the Occupational Health Physician/Medical Officer during medical examinations and clinical assessments.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatments in accordance with medical protocols.
• Coordinate emergency response, ambulance services, and hospital referrals when required.
• Participate in workplace injury investigations and assist with identifying potential occupational health risks.
• Conduct health education, wellness programs, awareness sessions, and preventive health campaigns for employees.
• Promote occupational hygiene, infection prevention, ergonomics, and healthy workplace practices.
• Monitor and maintain first-aid rooms, medical equipment, medicines, emergency supplies, and inventory.
• Ensure appropriate handling and disposal of medical and biomedical waste.
• Maintain compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, medical, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare periodic occupational health reports, medical statistics, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with EHS, HR, management, and other departments on employee health and safety initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information at all times.
• Participate in health and safety audits, emergency drills, and occupational health programs.
• Perform other duties related to occupational health and employee wellbeing as assigned.
