Network Engineer SD-WAN

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong SD-WAN expertise to design, implement, configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, routing, switching, network security, and network monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain SD-WAN solutions in enterprise environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela environments.
• Work on routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, and TCP/IP.
• Manage WAN connectivity, branch networks, VPNs, and network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPSec VPN, GRE, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, availability, latency, and bandwidth utilization.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with firewalls, routers, switches, and other network security devices.
• Perform SD-WAN deployments, upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration records, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in change management, incident management, and problem management activities.
• Provide support during critical incidents and planned maintenance activities.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SD-WAN.
• Good experience with Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela.
• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, TCP/IP.
• Good understanding of WAN, LAN, VPN, IPSec, and GRE.
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of network security concepts and firewalls.
• Good knowledge of network troubleshooting methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA / CCNP.
• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco firewalls.
• Exposure to cloud networking — AWS / Azure.
• Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible is an advantage.
• ITIL / Service Management knowledge is an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to attend the F2F interview in Chennai.
• Candidates with strong hands-on SD-WAN production experience are preferred.
