Walk-in || Merchant Acquisition Business Sales executive

Job Overview: Seeking an experienced sales professional to drive field acquisitions and business development for Merchant Acquiring services at Axis Bank, focusing on EDC/POS machines, QR codes, Soundboxes, and Payment Gateway solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchant Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and acquire retail merchants, SMEs, and corporate clients for payment solutions (POS machines, payment gateways, QR codes, Soundboxes).
• Business Development: Generate leads through direct field visits, cold calling, and local market mapping to expand Axis Bank's merchant base.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to maximize volume throughput and drive long-term retention.
• Cross-Selling: Promote additional banking products and value-added financial services to existing merchant partners.
• Client Onboarding & Compliance: Ensure seamless onboarding, complete KYC documentation, and guide merchants through terminal installation and payment setup.

Desired Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Experience: Proven field sales experience in merchant onboarding, acquiring, digital payments, POS/EDC machines, or payment gateways.
• Key Skills: Field Sales, Merchant Acquisition, B2B Sales, Payment Solutions, QR Code/Sound box Deployment, Business Development.
• Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
• Attributes: Strong communication skills, self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with daily field operations.
