Job descriptionJob Description: Field Sales Executive POS Machine (EDC)Position OverviewThe Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition by promoting and selling POS (EDC) machines to businesses. This role involves direct field sales, relationship building, and ensuring smooth onboarding of merchants into the payment ecosystem.Key Responsibilities

• Merchant acquisition: Identify and onboard new merchants for POS/EDC machine deployment.
• Sales targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals for POS machine installations.
• Field visits: Conduct regular visits to potential merchants, explain product benefits, and close deals.
• Relationship management: Maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities.
• Training & support: Educate merchants on POS machine usage, troubleshooting, and transaction processes.
• Market intelligence: Gather competitor insights and feedback from merchants to improve offerings.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business preferred).
• Experience: 06 months in field sales, preferably in banking, payments, or fintech.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
• Tech-savvy: Basic understanding of POS machines, payment gateways, and transaction processes.
